The Sahara Desert is situated in the North part of Africa. Fennec Fox, Addax and more can live in this area of Africa and withstand its incredible temperatures of up to 172 degrees farenheit.

The Kruger National Park is one of the largest game reserves in Africa. Plant life is group into four areas: Thorn Trees and Red Bush-willow Veld, Knob-thorn and Marula Veld, Red Bush-willow and Mopane Veld, and Shrub Mopane Veld. The animals here include African Wild Dog, Bushbuck, Cheetah and about 253 species of residencial birds.

This canyon was carved by the Colorado River. This canyon is home to 167 species of fungi, 64 species of moss, and 195 species of lichen. The large variety of species is largely due to the 8,000 foot change in elevation. The Lower Sonoran, which spans from the river up to 3,500 feet, give homes to Willows, arrowweed, and catclaw acacia. The canyon tree frog, red spotted toad and Woodhouse's Rocky Mountain toad are the three most common amphibians. Bobcats, Gray foxes and more can be found here.

This national parks lies mostly in Wyoming but extends into Montana and Idaho as well. Though it has many ecosystems, the subalpine forest is dominant. The Lodgepole Pine forest cover the majority of the park. Pronghorn sheep, Grizzly Bears, and Bison are just some of the animals that roam the mountains, but there are many more.
