This is a similar idea to the Stats post in the way of organizing who plays what.
I was thinking for each continent/area you could have a table in the header of that individual board with the names and types of animals that live there.
Eg; You go to Africa and click Serengeti Plains. Inside the board there is a table at the top of the page stating who lives here specifically, their genders and what member owns them. You could include more or less information about each character, that's entirely up to you.
It could be a great way to quickly see who's available for roleplaying, and it would still be visible while reading a thread or creating a new one in that board.
Once we have a lot of members it would act as a quick reference guide for roleplaying, and if there's too many characters to keep up with you could assign a moderator for certain boards to keep them constantly updated.
So that's my idea!

This is a good idea, however, I'm not so sure if I will implement this into the site or not. Once the site grows more, and more characters are being made, the header could get stretched out and it could get to be too long.
And the idea of a moderator to help would be a good idea as well, except for being that the list will be in the board headers, the mod would need access to the headers, and there is no way (that I know of) to give a mod access to only one specific board header and footer.
Although, we could do a sticked thread at the top of each board saying the same thing. Or simply a completely separate board for all the lists possibly.
Overall, I do like this idea, and I would be very handy for everyone.

I'm glad you like it for the most part! I like the idea of the sticky thread. Also, I'm pretty sure there is a way to give a mod access to one specific board (No idea if it's still there though.) I used to do it all the time on my old site, there's an option to limit whichever powers you give a group only to boards their listed as moderators on. I'm not sure if it's still there since it's been more than a year though.

Yes, there still is a way to limit the access for the mods. But the only way it's going to let me give them the power to edit the headers and footers is if they don't have the limited powers, which means they'll have access to all of the headers and footers.
But I'll look around and see if there's any codes to work around this.

Ohh okay! It's been so long since I was an admin on proboards, I've forgotten a lot of things.
