Who hasn't experienced that there are subjects, or concepts, that are very easy to learn, and yet others are very complicated for us to understand and retain? And what do we do when we cannot understand, or it is difficult for us to learn something? Learning strategies Most of us get nervous and overwhelmed if it is something important, or necessary. We get frustrated, and many times we think that we are not good enough to study, or that this subject or concept is too difficult for us. Who hasn't thought, or even said, things like; “I'm not good at mathematics,” or “learning by heart isn't my thing”? However, I ask you this key question: Have you ever wondered how your brain learns? Ask yourself: Would you use a car without having first learned to drive? Surely the answer of most of us would be; No! So, why do we use our brain without first learning how it works, and on top of that we expect it to respond well to us? Discover what learning strategies your brain uses, and use them to your advantage It's not that we don't know anything about how the brain works, since on many occasions we use it correctly without even realizing it.
The knowledge is there, and without realizing it we already apply it. It is as if, sometimes, we know “what works to use in our Myanmar Email List brain, and then everything flows…. and other times I put first, when in reality I should put 5th. But why? The problem is that when the strategies we use regularly do not give us the results we expect, instead of questioning what we are doing, we get frustrated. They have taught us to question these strategies and analyze the process. Apply the rule of 3 One of the keys to learning, as we will see, is to Apply the Rule of 3. Three simple steps : Identify the processes Differentiate them Know when to apply the one that corresponds to the type of knowledge we want to learn. Experience tells us that if we learn to understand the basic information of how our brain works, nerves and frustration disappear, and that is when we understand that learning can be done in a fluid way, even fun and, above all, enjoyed.
It sounds almost incredible, but very appetizing, right? I invite you to embark on a journey of self-discovery, in a series of articles in which we will seek to learn how to learn. And how are we going to do that? We will return to the Rule of 3! 1- We will begin by learning to Identify the main modes of thought, and why it is necessary to understand, and integrate, that information to know how to identify and differentiate them. 2- We will establish the techniques and tools that we can use in each of the modes when we are studying. 3- And finally, we will evaluate the different information systems that we use to receive, process and communicate information to use them appropriately, and in our favor. First of all, it is important to understand what a Mode of Thinking is. With “Thinking mode” we refer to the different strategies that our brain uses to manage the information that comes to it from outside, identify it, make a “hole” in our “storage.
