Harinera Riojana, in its commitment to reduce its electrical dependence and reinforce its commitment to sustainability and the environment, has installed the first photovoltaic solar façade in La Rioja and the largest in Spain.
After evaluating different alternatives, the Board of Directors of the company from Najeria finally approved the investment in a vertical solution, since it maximized the number of total panels and, consequently, the energy generated.
As explained by this company in a statement, this is the first solar façade to be installed in La Rioja and the largest that exists in Spain with vertical solar panels.
In total, state-of-the-art so C Level Executive List lar panels have been installed, each with a power of watts (Wp), which represents a total installed power of kilowatts (kwp).
This power of the photovoltaic façade will allow an annual electrical self-consumption of , kilowatt hours and the annual emission of tons of CO into the atmosphere per year will be avoided.
The Riojan firm has invested , euros in this photovoltaic façade, as part of an improvement plan of million euros, detailed the company, which is celebrating years of history and produces tons of flour daily in its facilities.
