The project had 2 phases. In the first, the digitization, description, and allocation of the entire collection of microscopy slides used by the IES in its face-to-face courses took place. The digitization process was carried out in partnership with the State University of Campinas (Unicamp). For each slide digitized and made available, a textual description was made by a teacher, the purpose of which was to provide ambiance and familiarize the student with what will be observed and studied microscopically. The aim was to ensure the inclusive premise of accessibility. In addition, the describing professors indicated up to 3 bibliographies that can be consulted by students for self-study. It is worth noting that this resource undergoes constant review by the committees of the courses they use and, in addition to the author and describer professor, a team of educational curators evaluated and reviewed all the information available on the platform.
How does the tool help students? The tool in question can generate several benefits for students, who can have another resource to increase their knowledge and build a brilliant career. Among the main advantages are: Practicality Find Your Mobile Number List for studies; Integration of synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences; development of specific skills for their courses related to the observation of microscopic characteristics; Democratization of access; Sustainability and contribution to proving the pedagogical excellence of courses in their recognition processes; Visualization of slides for your learning in a sustainable way without spending inputs and generating waste. The resource allows, in addition to pedagogical study benefits, autonomy for studies. Considering that access is democratized and simple. It is worth highlighting that we seek more than the development of course-specific skills , but also the development of student autonomy and responsibility as the protagonist of their learning journey.
When is it used? This virtual environment can be used by all UniCesumar students taking courses that require microscopy practice, or who can benefit from this resource. The idea is that you have access to the platform during the course to have access to ongoing training, in addition to allowing you to review content on the platform with teachers. This means you can direct your studies more practically and fully develop your understanding of the topics covered on the platform. Furthermore, it is still possible to clarify doubts with teachers and discuss with colleagues about the material used in this tool. Do you understand how EAD UniCesumar's Atlas Digital Microscopy Platform is important for developing skills and knowledge in microscopy? By having the entire infrastructure of an institution that has already trained more than 100,000 students, you have access to several exclusive tools and resources to boost your professional performance .
