The program expired at the end of fiscal year 2012, the committee said.

Grain Processing Corporation in Muscatine, Iowa, has agreed to pay a $129,000 fine for violating the federal Clean Water Act, the EPA says. The agency said the company's violations included exceeding limits on biochemical oxygen demand, total suspended solids, temperature and pH; taking non-representative flow measurements; failure to perform sedimentation tests; and failure to maintain all facilities and control systems in good working order.
The Environmental Protection Agency has reached two agreements with Mark West Liberty Midstream & Resources and Laurel Mountain Midstream Robin Hill, which have agreed to improve operations at their natural gas production facilities in western Pennsylvania. The agency said the companies failed to comply with federal clean air regulations aimed at preventing accidental releases of flammable substances.
